Marc Marquez freezes Ducati: "Impossible to win"

MotoGP lands in Balaton for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the eighth round of the World Championship: last season Marc Marquez on this track did his fill by taking pole and winning both the Sprint and Sunday races, but now it’s all different for him and Ducati. “To win here again is not a realistic expectation. If I’m battling for those positions, it means the others are doing something wrong,” are the drastic words of the number 93, who still feels he is not 100 percent physically and also at the bike level.
“I’m not the rider to beat, the ones to beat are the two Aprilias. The battle will be quite interesting from now on, because both of them are very fast, Martin knows very well what it means to be world champion, however I see that Bezzecchi is riding well and is the rider who tends to be the fastest and most consistent over the weekend. I will try to be as close to them as possible. But he continues to think it is impossible to win.”
Then the nine-time world champion updated on his condition: “I believe and hope to take a step forward physically between Balaton and Brno. I know it will take time to really improve, it will take several weeks to regain confidence on the bike and physical condition. The first problem is on the nerves, because they are connected to the muscles. I heard that several muscles that were not working well before Mugello worked differently at Mugello, it will still take time.”
“In general, the back part of the body works pretty well, but the part in front of the shoulder, the clavicle and the biceps have room to work.”
