Inter market, Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent scares fans

Last summer Hakan Calhanoglu was very close to a move to Galatasaray in Turkey, then the Giallorossi club failed to reach an agreement with Inter and the midfielder remained at the Nerazzurri under Cristian Chivu. The Turkish clubs’ interest in Calhanoglu has not waned, and the latest statements by his prosecutor have alerted the Inter Milanese.
Interviewed by Yagız Sabuncuoglu, Gordon Stipic came out of the closet: “In the last few days I have not only conducted in-depth talks with Hakan Safi (Fenerbahce presidential candidate, ed.), but also met him in person. We have been friends for a long time and our conversations were based on great trust. Of course, we covered many topics and some players, especially one. If Hakan Safi wins the election to be held this weekend, we have reached a basic agreement on my most important player.”
In the past few days, several Turkish media had spread the news that Hakan Calhanoglu has let Galatasaray know that he wants to join the Giallorossi and is apparently willing to reduce his salary (from 6.5 to 5 million euros) in order to facilitate the deal.
Who arrived at Inter Milan on a zero-parameter basis from AC Milan in the summer of 2021, Calhanoglu took very little to win the hearts of the Nerazzurri fans and so far with the Biscione he has totaled 212 appearances topped by 50 goals and 39 assists.
