Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic: After a 27-day break, Jannik Sinner returns to the court

It has been 27 days since his devastating loss in the second round of Roland Garros to Juan Manuel Cerundolo. Today, Jannik Sinner will return to the court with the goal of proving to everyone that that setback was just a one-off.
The world No. 1 will make his season debut on grass by competing in the 2026 Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic (12 entrants, direct super tiebreak in the third set). The event, scheduled at the Hurlingham Club in London, will see Jannik Sinner take on Cameron Norrie. A “tough” opponent who will help the South Tyrolean gauge his physical condition after several weeks spent getting back into shape.
Briton Cameron Norrie, ranked No. 29 in the ATP rankings, was a semifinalist at Wimbledon in 2022. The two have faced each other only once on the major tour, most recently in the round of 16 at the Madrid Masters 1000, where Sinner prevailed in two sets, 6-2, 7-5, on clay.
The match against Cameron Norrie, scheduled for today at 3:30 p.m., will be broadcast live on SuperTennis, available for free over-the-air, while the stream will be available on supertennis.tv and on the SuperTenniX platform for subscribers.
