Inter Transfer Market: There Are Already Some Major Alternatives to Palestra

Inter was left disappointed. Just when negotiations with Atalanta for Palestra seemed close to the usual “white smoke” agreement, Chelsea burst onto the scene. The English club offered more money for the transfer fee and an extremely high salary for the fullback. The result: Palestra is very close to joining the Blues.

The Nerazzurri didn’t waste any time. They immediately explored other options in an effort to find a replacement for Dumfries as soon as possible (Dumfries is currently just waiting to sign his new contract with Real Madrid).

Several names are on the table for Marotta and his team. One is Cambiaso, who has been linked to Inter in the past. Also pursued by other clubs, especially abroad, the Juventus fullback could be a good solution for Chivu.

Keep an eye on Dodo as well. The Brazilian from Fiorentina has the right experience to perform well in an Inter jersey. The possibility of signing Kayode—born in 2004 and currently with Brentford—shouldn’t be ruled out either. Finally, a new name could also emerge, perhaps at the end of the World Cup. In short, Inter has already reacted to the negative news regarding negotiations with Atalanta for Palestra.
