Milan’s attacking revolution is about to begin. According to reports coming out of France, the Rossoneri’s top target for a center forward is Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonçalo Ramos. The former Benfica striker is a specific request from new coach Ruben Amorim, and initial talks are reportedly already underway between the Milan club and the French champions, who have indicated they are open to selling the 2004-born player. PSG values him at around 40 million euros, and other European clubs are also interested in Ramos.

Gonçalo Ramos possesses the qualities Amorim is looking for: a dynamic center forward capable of operating across the entire attacking front and contributing to the team’s play, using his height to play as a target man and excelling at exploiting open spaces. He has 26 appearances and ten goals for Portugal’s senior national team.

A product of Benfica’s youth system, he made his professional debut in 2020 with the Eagles. After scoring 41 goals in 106 matches with the Lisbon club—where he won a Portuguese league title in 2023—he transferred to PSG, where he racked up twelve titles in six years. Under Luis Enrique Ramos, however, he has struggled to find consistency, and last season he made only 25 total appearances, scoring 11 goals. Milan could give him back the central role he has long been seeking.

Santiago Gimenez will make way for him in the attack: Porto is reportedly in the running for the Mexican player with an offer of over 30 million euros.
