MotoGP Sprint Race in the Netherlands: Raul Fernandez Triumphs at Assen. Bezzecchi Finishes Fourth; Bagnaia and Marc Marquez Lag Behind

The unexpected winner: Raul Fernandez wins the MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix Sprint Race. At Assen, the Aprilia Trackhouse rider prevailed over his teammate, Japan’s Ai Ogura, at the end of a race full of twists and turns. For the Spaniard, this is his second Sprint race victory this year, following his win at Mugello.
Third place went to Fabio Di Giannantonio of the VR46 team, the top Ducati rider, while World Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi finished fourth; due to a mistake at the start, he was unable to contend for the win. Behind the rider from Rimini is his teammate Jorge Martin, who finished a nose ahead of the Ducatis ridden by Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez, in sixth and seventh place.
