With the transfer of the team’s franchise from Brescia to Rome, all players under contract with the Lombardy-based club have the opportunity to join the new Rome-based team and sign with Paul Matiasic’s Maxima Roma. According to rumors, this is a decision that Miro Bilan has made, but not Amedeo Della Valle.

As reported by La Prealpina, the Italian national team player has decided not to move to the capital and is now working to find a new destination, either in Italy or abroad.

For Della Valle, 33, this marks the end of another top-level season with Brescia. Thanks in part to the change in leadership of the national team, the guard managed to reclaim a spot on the national squad, reaffirming his status as one of the league’s top performers. With Germani, which finished second at the end of the regular season, he averaged 16.8 points per game, was named the LBA’s Best Italian Player, and was selected for the league’s All-Star Five.

Similar situations also apply to coach Matteo Cotelli and John Brown III. The latter had been announced as the club’s new signing just a few days before the transfer of the team’s ownership rights.
