He renews his contract with Monza and then heads to Spezia; the Brianza-based club bids farewell to Samuele Capolupo

On Tuesday, Monza officially announced the transfer of Samuele Capolupo to Spezia. The young talent, born in 2006, has moved on loan with an option to buy and a buyback option in favor of the Brianza-based club.
“AC Monza announces that Samuele Capolupo is transferring to Spezia with an option in favor of the Ligurian club and a buyback option for the Biancorossi,” reads the official statement. The fullback, born in 2006, has simultaneously renewed his contract with AC Monza through June 30, 2029.”
“A member of the Biancorossi since the 2019–2020 season, following a brilliant run through the youth academy, he joined the first team in the summer of 2025 and made his Serie B debut on December 20 in the Monza vs. Carrarese match. Good luck to Samuele on his new adventure!”
A native of Monza, Samuele Capolupo came up through his hometown club’s youth system before making his Serie B debut in Monza’s convincing victory over Carrarese during the season that ended with the Lombardy-based team’s promotion to Serie A.
A left-footed wingback capable of playing both in the defensive line and in midfield, Capolupo is now ready to put his skills to work for the Eagles.
