2026-2027 Preseason Friendlies: Standard Liège vs. Juventus—Probable Lineups

This is the second summer friendly for Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus. After the 0-0 draw with Basel, the Bianconeri will look to take a step forward in Liège, Belgium, against Standard: kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. With the transfer market still in limbo, Spalletti has no choice but to field some players who won’t be part of the squad next season.

This is Celik’s first call-up; he is expected to make his debut but won’t start from the first minute, while Thuram, Yildiz, Bremer, Milik, Zhegrova, and Koopmeiners have remained in Turin, as they are all behind in their preseason preparation. Ekhator is also out due to a physical issue, and the national team players who participated in the World Cup are still absent.

Juventus will take the field with Openda as center forward, supported by Miretti, Adzic, and Boga. In midfield, Douglas Luiz could start from the first minute alongside Locatelli. The two fullbacks are Kalulu and Cambiaso, while Kelly and Gatti will anchor the defense in front of Di Gregorio.
