Preseason friendlies: Cagliari vs. Modena, probable lineups

Cagliari and Modena will face off at 5 p.m. in Temù, in Val Camonica, where the Rossoblù are holding their training camp. In the midst of their summer preparations, the Sardinians and the Canarini will test their respective form ahead of the start of the season. Cagliari is looking to build on last season’s Serie A survival, while Modena aims to return to the top flight.

The Sardinians are coming off a 0-0 draw against Sampdoria: Sebastiano Esposito and Trepy will lead the attack, with Romano and Zappa on the wings, and Adopo, Prati, and Fazzini in midfield.

This is Modena’s first major test of the preseason: Mendes is expected to play as the lone striker, with Stenio, Olzer, and Caso behind him. Santoro and Bianco will anchor the midfield, while Beyuku and Azzi will start at fullback.
