Turin Transfer Market: With the defense sorted out, there’s a new name for the midfield

Two signings in two days for Torino, which has bolstered its defense with the arrivals of Swiss international Eray Comert on a free transfer and center back Pietro Comuzzo (born in 2005) from Fiorentina. In recent hours, the Swiss player bid farewell to his now-former fans at Valencia with a heartfelt message on social media.

With the defense sorted out, the Granata are now considering possible reinforcements in midfield. The name that has gained increasing traction in recent hours is that of Kristijan Jakic of Augsburg.

Born in 1997, a former player for Dinamo Zagreb and Eintracht Frankfurt, he played for Croatia in the last World Cup and has already informed his club of his desire to move elsewhere. Jakic is a defensive midfielder with excellent ball-handling and playmaking skills: last season he played 26 games in the Bundesliga, and his market value is estimated at around 8 million euros.
