Cagliari Transfer Market: A Surprise Twist Involving Sebastiano Esposito

It now seems a foregone conclusion that Sebastiano Esposito will be leaving Cagliari: the striker’s entourage is shopping around for a new club following the chaos of recent weeks, and Como appeared to be the club most interested in signing the 2002-born player. Now, however, everything could change.

In recent days, Como has had some contact with Cagliari, and there has even been talk of possibly including Belgian defender Ignace Van der Brempt in the deal to lower the Sardinian club’s financial demands (Tommaso Giulini is asking for no less than 20 million euros), but a glimmer of hope seems to have reopened for Moise Kean’s transfer to Como.

Cesc Fabregas is a huge fan of the Fiorentina forward, and Como has been tracking him for some time, but until now, Fiorentina and sporting director Fabio Paratici had never been open to the possibility of letting the Italian international go. Now, partly due to Mateo Pellegrino’s transfer to Florence, things could change.

Furthermore, Fiorentina is spending a great deal of money and needs to sell some players to stay within its financial limits. Should the right offer come along, therefore, the Viola could give the “green light” to Moise Kean’s transfer.

The Italian national team striker also has several admirers in Saudi Arabia: in January, Simone Inzaghi’s Al Hilal seemed willing to offer him a contract worth 20 million euros per season, and the former Inter coach would still like to sign him, but the player has never been open to a move to the Saudi Pro League and is unlikely to change his mind.
