2026-2027 Coppa Italia: Venezia vs. Modena, Probable Lineups

Venice and Modena face off at 8:45 p.m. in a match for the second round of the 2026-2027 Coppa Italia. At the Penzo, Stroppa’s team will test its strength ahead of its Serie A debut in a week; Venice secured a solid victory against Galatasaray in preseason, then lost to Saint-Étienne and drew with Brest. Modena, coming off a draw with Vis Pesaro, will play in Serie B next season. The winner of this match will face either Udinese or Padova in the round of 32.

The entire roster is available to Stroppa, except for the injured Adorante and Sverko. “Pre-season went pretty well,” said Venezia coach Stroppa on the eve of the match. “We’re already at a good level for what we’re aiming for. We need to integrate the new players, especially those who arrived a little later than the others. We had a season in line with our previous experiences. We hope to be ready tomorrow, because with this heat and the level of competition, it’s a tough challenge to face—we’ll see where we stand.”
