Preseason friendlies: Manchester United vs. Milan, probable lineups
Manchester United and Milan are set to face off at 4:45 p.m. at the Tarczynski Arena in Wrocław, Poland, in their final friendly match ahead of the start of their respective leagues in a week. There’s a lot of curiosity surrounding Ruben Amorim’s team, which in recent days has dropped and excluded several top-tier players.
Mbeumo is the focal point of Carrick’s attack, with Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, and Dorgu lining up in the attacking midfield. Zirkzee, rumored to be on his way out, will start on the bench. In midfield, Tielemans will partner with Santos, while Dalot and Shaw will man the flanks.

The most delicate situation for Milan concerns Rafael Leao: the Portuguese forward, who is dealing with a physical issue, may also be at risk of missing his Serie A debut against Torino. But beyond the injury, it’s now clear that Amorim doesn’t consider him a key part of his plans. Following a meeting with owner Gerry Cardinale, Milan has lowered the asking price for the Rossoneri’s No. 10 to around 40 million euros, bringing it closer to the offers received in recent weeks. Galatasaray remains in the running, having already presented Leao with a contract offer of 12 million net per season, but the Portuguese player’s true ambition remains the Premier League.
