Juventus Wins Intra-Squad Match

Juventus’ “senior” squad defeated Next Gen 2-0 in the traditional intra-club friendly that precedes the start of the official season. Goals by Conceição and McKennie decided the match, in a game that offered interesting insights for Luciano Spalletti.
The Bianconeri coach has reason to be satisfied, above all with the team’s attacking play, but also with the performance of an excellent Yildiz. The Turkish talent appeared to be in great shape and seems to have finally overcome the physical issues that had hampered him toward the end of last season.
Encouraging signs also came from the Next Gen team coached by Brambilla, which was able to hold its own against the first team and showcase several promising players. Amaradio and Rizzo stood out for their character and skill, while Radu delivered a top-notch performance.
The Next Gen goalkeeper, in fact, denied Kolo Muani on multiple occasions, clearly winning their one-on-one duel and preventing the French forward from finding the back of the net. For Spalletti, therefore, it was a useful test from several perspectives. In addition to gaining insights into the first team, the coach was able to closely observe some young players who could prove to be important assets during the season. The Next Gen squad thus reaffirms itself as a talent pool from which Juventus can draw when needed.
