Liverpool is firmly setting its sights on Paris Saint-Germain to bolster its offense. The Reds’ top target is Bradley Barcola, identified as a potential new starter on the left wing, but the English club is also interested in young Ibrahim Mbaye, considered a promising option for the opposite flank.

According to reports from France and England, Liverpool has already submitted a very substantial offer for Barcola. The figures reported by various sources differ: some suggest an official offer close to 115 million euros, while other reports claim the Reds have raised their bid to 135 million after an initial proposal of around 100 million.

PSG reportedly initially set an extremely high asking price for the French international but later partially scaled back its demands. The gap between the parties has thus narrowed, with Liverpool willing to make a massive investment to bring Barcola to the team.

Meanwhile, talks regarding Mbaye continue. The young forward has reportedly already reached an agreement with Liverpool on personal terms and, according to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, has even agreed to a five-year contract.

The situation involving the two players has reportedly become delicate in Paris as well. PSG has reportedly decided not to use Barcola and Mbaye until their futures are clarified. Both are reportedly open to a move to the Premier League, drawn by the prospect of more regular playing time.

Luis Enrique also weighed in on the matter, without directly referring to the two players but clarifying the club’s philosophy: anyone who isn’t fully committed to staying in Paris can find another solution. A message that further fuels transfer rumors.
