Juventus Transfer Market: Arsenal Tries Again, Makes a Move for Kenan Yildiz
Europe has been warned: English champions Arsenal are looking for a top striker, and there could be some sensational news before the end of the summer transfer window. In recent weeks, the Gunners had tried unsuccessfully to pry Vinicius Junior away from Real Madrid, and now they are reportedly targeting Juventus star Kenan Yildiz.
Arteta is a big fan of the Turkish star, who is considered a cornerstone of Spalletti’s team and an irreplaceable player. Arsenal reportedly made an initial approach in June and is ready to make another move in the coming days: there is talk of contact with the player’s entourage to explore the possible terms of the deal.

Yildiz has a contract with Juventus through 2030, and the Piedmont-based club’s position is currently very strong. On the outgoing front, Juventus must deal with several pending situations. One of the most delicate involves Nico Gonzalez, who would like to return to Atlético Madrid: the Colchoneros, however, are proposing a loan with an option to buy, a formula the Bianconeri consider unacceptable after having spent over 30 million to sign him. Meanwhile, Atalanta has also entered the picture—a club appreciated by both Giuntoli and Sarri—but the player’s salary—about 3.6 million per season—represents a significant obstacle. Juventus is asking for at least 26 million to avoid booking a loss.
The goalkeeper situation is nearing a resolution. With Guglielmo Vicario arriving on loan from Tottenham with an option to buy set at 8 million, and Michele Di Gregorio set to move to Olympique Marseille on loan, Juventus could also change its backup goalkeeper: Mattia Perin, the current backup, is considering an offer from Palermo, which would give him a two-year contract with an option to buy and a salary higher than his current 1.5 million. His departure would reopen the race for a new addition between the posts, with Musso once again emerging as a strong contender in this scenario.
