2026-2027 Serie B: Cesena vs. Sampdoria, Probable Lineups

The new Serie B season is in full swing, and tonight it’s Cesena’s turn to make its league debut. The team coached by Alessandro Diamanti will take the field at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi against Bernardo Corradi’s Sampdoria in an intriguing matchup between two teams looking to get off on the right foot. Cesena will have to deal with several absences, especially in the back line. Diamanti will therefore be forced to field an unfamiliar defensive line, with Magni, Ciofi, Ilic, and David in front of Siano. Despite transfer rumors surrounding him, Cristian Shpendi is expected to start up front, confirmed as the center of the attacking trio.

Sampdoria also heads into the match with several lineup issues. Corradi will have to do without several key players, and Lauritsen is also among those unavailable.
