After two seasons with Juventus, Michele Di Gregorio has officially parted ways with the club and is embarking on a new adventure in England. The former Monza goalkeeper is joining Premier League club Bournemouth on loan through June 30, 2027, with an option for a permanent transfer.
“Michele Di Gregorio bids farewell to Juventus after two seasons with the Bianconeri,” the Turin-based club announced. Having arrived in the summer of 2024, the goalkeeper made his Juventus debut on August 19 of that same year in a 3-0 victory over Como at Allianz Stadium. In total, he made 84 appearances across all competitions.
The agreement with Bournemouth includes a loan fee of 1.3 million euros, a figure that could increase by an additional 800,000 euros upon the achievement of certain sporting targets. The English club will also have the option to purchase his contract outright for 12.7 million euros, payable over three fiscal years, with an additional 1.5 million euros tied to potential bonuses.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Di Gregorio’s career, in one of the most prestigious and competitive leagues in the world. “I sensed the club’s desire to have me here, and I felt this club’s ambition to continue growing and achieving great things,” the goalkeeper told Bournemouth’s official channels. “The Premier League is the best league in the world. It’s an honor for me to be here and have the chance to play at such a high level.”
Di Gregorio’s decision regarding his social media presence also sparked debate. After the transfer was made official, the goalkeeper removed all references to his two seasons at Juventus from his social media profiles. Only three posts remain—published on the day of the announcement and dedicated to his new adventure in England. No mention of the Bianconeri appears in his bio or anywhere else on his profile. For Juventus, the Di Gregorio chapter has thus come to a close, while for the goalkeeper, the Premier League challenge begins, with Bournemouth ready to rely on his skills between the posts.
