Negotiations between Juventus and Franck Kessié have reached a crucial stage. Talks are continuing at a rapid pace in an effort to reach a final agreement quickly, especially as the transfer window is drawing to a close. The fact that the Ivorian is a free agent also leaves open the possibility that other clubs could step in at the last minute. Among the clubs continuing to monitor the situation is Roma, which, however, would need to finalize the sale of El Aynaoui before making a move.

From a financial standpoint, Juventus believes it has reached the limit of what it can sustainably invest. The offer presented does not fully meet Kessié’s initial expectations, but it represents the maximum effort the club is willing to make.

Spalletti himself has emphasized the need to adhere to certain financial parameters. From a sporting standpoint, however, the coach has made it clear that he views Kessié as a player who could immediately find a place in the squad and provide new options in midfield.

What works in Juventus’ favor above all is the player’s stance. Kessié, in fact, views a return to Serie A as a particularly appealing option and has so far given the Bianconeri priority. This willingness is also demonstrated by his decision not to accept the new offers he has received from Saudi Arabia.

Juventus’s offer includes a two-year contract, with the option to extend the deal for an additional season. His salary would be around 4.5 million euros per year, plus various bonuses. The midfielder’s strong interest in the move has made management confident that a deal can be reached.

The final hurdle concerns the variable portion of the deal. The parties are trying to find common ground on the structure of the bonuses and, in particular, on the terms regarding the signing bonus. These are the aspects that still need to be worked out before a full agreement can be reached. At this point, therefore, all that’s missing is Kessié’s final approval to turn the recent negotiations into a final agreement.
