MotoGP 2026, Riders’ World Championship Standings: Marc Marquez Shakes Things Up

Jorge Martin retains the lead in the 2026 MotoGP World Championship standings following the Aragon Grand Prix. The thirteenth race of the season was held at the MotorLand circuit over 23 laps, shifting the balance at the top of the world championship standings.

The Spanish rider remains firmly in the lead with 256 points. Close behind him is Marc Marquez, who, thanks to his result in Aragon, has climbed to 237 points, bringing him within 19 points of the top spot. Marco Bezzecchi, meanwhile, drops one spot and is now third with 232 points, 24 points behind the championship leader. Fabio Di Giannantonio takes fourth place with 208 points, while Ai Ogura rounds out the top five with 203 points.

Further back, Pedro Acosta is sixth with 189 points, ahead of Raúl Fernández (186). Francesco Bagnaia, meanwhile, occupies eighth place with 143 points, followed by Álex Márquez (128) and Fermín Aldeguer (90). Among the Italians, Luca Marini is twelfth with 88 points, while Enea Bastianini follows in thirteenth place with 84. Franco Morbidelli, meanwhile, is sixteenth with 53 points.
