Armani Olimpia Milano’s schedule: the national team players are back, and there are several test matches

Things are starting to get serious at Armani Olimpia Milano. With the first preseason game of the new season behind them (a victory over Pallacanestro Varese), Coach Poeta’s team faces a demanding schedule leading up to their official season opener on September 19 (the Italian Super Cup semifinal against Virtus Bologna).
This will be a week packed with events. First and foremost, all the national team players currently competing across Europe will be returning. The Italian national team players Thompson, Tonut, Ricci, and Akele are expected in Milan. Bolmaro and Guduric will also return, along with Wright, who performed so well for North Macedonia.
After undergoing the standard medical exams, they’ll all be at Coach Poeta’s disposal. As for preseason games, on September 1, there will be a match against Scaligera Verona, coached by Ramagli. Then, the team heads to Crete.
On Friday, September 4, the first game of the tournament against Red Star. On Sunday, September 6, they’ll face either Fenerbahçe or Olympiacos. In short, things are starting to get serious. The team is eager to find the right chemistry as soon as possible so they can be in peak condition for the start of the season.
