Transfer Market: Last-Ditch Efforts Before the Final Whistle

The countdown to the close of the transfer window is now in its final moments. The window will officially close at 8:00 p.m., leaving clubs with only a few hours to finalize their last deals. After the deadline—with the exception of the ability to sign free agents—coaches will have to work with their current rosters until the transfer window reopens in early January.
Today will also be the final day of negotiations in England, Germany, Spain, and France. In other European leagues, however, there will still be a few days left to make signings.
Among these is Turkey, where the Süper Lig transfer window will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 4. In recent weeks, this league has attracted several high-profile players, including Salah, Lukaku, and Vlahovic, thanks in part to significant investments made by Turkish clubs.
