The Title Race with Aprilia: Marco Bezzecchi Rallys the Fans

Marco Bezzecchi arrives at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix with the confidence he gained at Aragón, where he managed to finish third on the podium twice despite not yet being fully recovered from the physical issues stemming from the injury he sustained at the Sachsenring.

The Aprilia Racing rider is now preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the season. Misano is, in fact, Bezzecchi’s home race, and he will be able to count on the support of the Italian crowd as he seeks to build on the competitiveness he has shown in the last two Grand Prix races.

His two third-place finishes at Aragón were a significant milestone, especially given that his physical condition was not yet optimal. In Romagna, the goal will therefore be to build on these results and make the most of the RS-GP26’s potential on a circuit the Italian rider knows particularly well.

The 4.23-kilometer Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli features 16 turns and numerous direction changes. Among the most distinctive sections is the Curvone, a blisteringly fast right-hand turn that riders tackle at around 240 km/h. It’s a technical track where Bezzecchi will try to rejoin the fight for the top positions.

“I’m really looking forward to going to Misano. It’ll be great to finally see all our fans again, even though it’s sure to be a very demanding weekend. I can’t wait to get out on the track on the RS-GP26,” notes the rider from Romagna.
