2026-2027 Champions League: Como vs. Leipzig, Probable Lineups

Como will make its historic Champions League debut at 9 p.m. against Leipzig in a match counting toward the first matchday of the group stage. In front of their home fans, Fabregas’s team aims to send a strong message to Europe right off the bat: the Lombardy-based side has seven points in Serie A and is coming off two convincing consecutive wins against Napoli and Genoa. Leipzig, on the other hand, is coming off a loss to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
For the debut, Fabregas is expected to once again rely on Douvikas up front, with Moise Kean ready to come off the bench. In the attacking midfield, Diao, Nico Paz, and Baturina will create chances, while Milla and Da Cunha anchor the midfield, with Perrone starting on the bench. Yan Couto and Valle will man the wings.
Guiu, Nkunku, and Nusa will form the attacking trio for Demichelis’s starting lineup, which is expected to feature the midfield trio of El Aynaoui, Seiwald, and Banzuzi. Baku and Raum will start at fullback.
