Ducati’s Tardozzi Praises Marc Marquez: “What has he come up with?” A Message to Bagnaia

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi praised Marc Marquez after his victory in the Sprint Race at Misano: “It was really tough; we know that Marco Bezzecchi is extremely strong here, so Marc had to pull off an incredible first lap to try to stay ahead of Marco.”

“Aprilia has shown it has an excellent bike and excellent riders, and Marc Marquez has proven himself to be just as good,” he told San Marino RTV. “Is this a good sign for Sunday? The important thing is to bring home points for the championship, get on the podium, and then we’ll see.”

Speaking to TNT Sports, Tardozzi also commented on Pecco Bagnaia’s ongoing struggles: “As I’ve said many times, we’re still working to try to find something that will restore his feel for the bike. But so far, we haven’t succeeded.”

“And yes, the fact that Bagnaia isn’t on the front row at Misano is a shame, because he’s always been one of the fastest riders on this track. He held the lap record, just a few tenths off Bezzecchi’s time today, which broke that record. But in any case, we’re always fighting to find the right solution.”
