La Liga 2026–2027: Celta Vigo vs. Málaga, probable lineups

On Sunday at 2 p.m., Celta Vigo will host Málaga in a match set to take place at Estadio Balaídos. The home team has a very busy schedule and may make several changes from their previous matches.

Giraldez will start Javi Rodríguez, who will play in a three-man defense alongside Yoel Lago and Marcos Alonso. Javi Rueda and Carreira will be tasked with covering the flanks; in midfield, Burcio (making his first start of the season) and Román will take the field, while Hugo González, Jutglà, and Swedberg will lead the attack.

Funes’s Málaga is in desperate need of points and, in an effort to get a result at Estadio Balaídos, will line up in a 4-3-3 formation. In front of Herrero in goal will be Rafita, Recio, Galilea, and either Salinas or Puga, with the former slightly favored. Dotor, Merino, and Lorenzo will be in midfield supporting the attack, which consists of Larrubia, Chupete, and Joaquín Muñoz.
