Polo, Fatal Accident: Man, 32, Dies from His Injuries

Tragedy in polo: Harry Revell, 32, died from injuries sustained during a match played on September 11 at the Cowdray Park Polo Club in Easebourne, West Sussex, England. Two other people were also injured in the accident.
Revell was well known within the polo community. The host club remembered him as a much-loved and respected member of the polo community, expressing its condolences for his passing.
An air ambulance was called immediately after the accident. Harry was transported to a specialized trauma center, while the other two injured individuals received the necessary treatment at regular medical facilities. Despite the care he received, Harry died in the hospital.
The Cowdray Park Polo Club announced a memorial cup in his honor and stated that the polo season would resume as scheduled: “The club has remained in close contact with Harry’s family since the accident and will continue to offer all possible support,” said a club spokesperson.
