Brighton vs. Arsenal is a Premier League Matchday 5 fixture, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. The English champions are looking for their fifth straight win to stay atop the standings: so far, Arteta’s team has had a perfect start, with four wins in four matches, eight goals scored, and only one conceded. Watch out for Brighton: the seventh-place Seagulls are a very tough opponent at home and are coming off a big road win against Coventry.

The home side will feature Kostoulas as the center forward; in the attacking midfield, Huerzeler has selected Gomez, Yalcouye, and de Cuyper. Kadioglu and Boscagli will play on the wings, while Gross partners with Ayari in midfield.

Arteta is still dealing with Saliba’s absence; Konsa will partner Gabriel in defense. Timber and Calafiori will play on the wings, while Rice pairs with Bruno Guimaraes in midfield. Saka, Odegaard, and Tzolis will support lone striker Havertz.

Brighton & Hove Albion (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Kadioglu, Vuskovic, Dunk, Boscagli; Gross, Ayari; Gomez, Yalcouye, de Cuyper; Kostoulas. Head Coach: Hürzeler.

Arteta had this to say at the press conference: “We’re facing a really tough opponent, so we’ll have to earn the win, but that will certainly be the mindset of the players and the team. The contract extension? I think we’re all on the same page—when the time is right, we’ll work it out. There’s nothing to worry about. The long international break? We’ll have to figure out how to handle it.”
