Monza: An Unbelievable Tragedy Outside the Stadium—One Person Dead

Tragedy struck in Monza, near the Brianteo Stadium, which hosts the Biancorossi’s home games in Serie A. On the morning of Sunday, September 20, two motorcycles collided in the parking lot on Viale Sicilia, in the immediate vicinity of the city’s sports complex. According to the local police at the Via Marsala station, as a result of the collision, a 41-year-old man from Paderno Dugnano sustained “extremely serious” injuries that proved fatal.
The man was treated by paramedics dispatched to the scene by AREU and then admitted to San Gerardo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other motorcyclist involved in the accident, a 42-year-old man from Monza, was admitted to the same hospital with a “yellow” emergency status.
An investigation into the incident began immediately, with the Local Police securing the area and then conducting the technical assessments necessary for an initial reconstruction of the events.
The work of law enforcement is being coordinated by the judicial authorities, who have already taken possession of the preliminary case files.
