Cantù has its sights set on a former Reggio Emilia player

According to rumors that have surfaced in the last few hours, Pallacanestro Cantù has set its sights on Bryson Williams, a U.S. power forward/center born in 1998 who played in Serie A last season with UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia.

A native of Fresno, California, Williams is a 203-centimeter big man who can play multiple positions thanks to his offensive versatility. After his college career at Fresno State, UTEP, and Texas Tech—which concluded with a 14.1-point average in his final NCAA season—he continued his career in the NBA G League and played in France, Israel, Turkey, and Italy.

With Reggio Emilia, he made 32 appearances in Serie A, averaging 8 points and 4.3 rebounds in just under 20 minutes on the court. A physical, athletic player with international experience, Williams is therefore one of the players Cantù is considering to strengthen its frontcourt ahead of the upcoming season.
