2026-2027 Nations League: Austria vs. Kosovo, Probable Lineups

Austria vs. Kosovo, with kickoff at 6 p.m., is a match in the second round of Group 3 of League B of the 2026–2027 Nations League. The hosts won their first match against Israel, played at home, and are hoping to repeat that success in front of their home crowd; Kosovo also won its opener against Ireland and is aiming for first place in the group.

Junior Adamu is expected to be Rangnick’s first choice up front for the Vienna squad, supported by Wimmer, Schmid, and Wanner. Siewald and Schlager will anchor the midfield.

On the eve of the match, head coach Rangnick spoke about his choices in attack, and in particular about Sasa Kalajdzic, who is expected to start on the bench because he is not 100% fit: “He’s an important player for us, but we mustn’t forget that he has a history of injuries. For me, the most important thing is that he doesn’t get injured again.”
