International Friendlies: Argentina vs. Bolivia, Probable Lineups

Argentina is preparing to bid farewell to captain Lionel Messi, who is expected to play his final match in an Albiceleste jersey on October 6, but first he’ll return to the field for a friendly against Bolivia.

Lionel Scaloni is ready to begin a new era just over two months after the World Cup final loss to Spain. The head coach has called up an experimental squad, which also includes the “Italians” Matias Soulé and Santiago Castro, considered among the players set to represent the future of the national team.

However, Argentina’s key players are still in the mix. Leading the team will be new captain Cristian Romero, along with Lautaro Martínez, Emiliano Martínez, and Nicolás Otamendi, who are set to guide the young players and debutants through this new chapter.

For Bolivia, on the other hand, a tough challenge lies ahead. Argentina has won nine of their last ten meetings. La Verde also comes into the match on the heels of three consecutive losses, in which they conceded ten goals without managing to score a single one.
