2026-2027 Nations League: Montenegro vs. Armenia, Probable Lineups

Following Montenegro’s thrilling 3-2 victory in the match played in Yerevan on September 28, the national team coached by Mirko Vucinic will face the squad led by Yeghishe Melikyan at home this time, in the fourth matchday of Group 2 of League C of the 2026–2027 Nations League. The match will be played in Podgorica, with kickoff at 8:45 p.m., under the supervision of Lithuanian referee Manfredas Lukjancukas.
Montenegro is on track to finish in first place, which would allow them to compete in League B next season without having to go through the playoffs. Their three wins in as many matches have come by narrow margins: 2-1 at home against Cyprus (a comeback sealed by Krstovic’s penalty and Osmajic), 3-2 in Armenia (goals by Krstovic and Latkovic following Piloyan’s own goal), and 2-1 in Latvia (a brace by Adzic, a Juventus academy product on loan to Sassuolo).
Armenia had started this edition of the Nations League well with a solid 2-0 home win over Latvia (goals by Harutyunyan and Gharibyan), but then came the aforementioned loss to Montenegro and the away defeat in Cyprus—a 2-0 loss courtesy of goals by Konomis and Kakoullis—to which the Armenians were unable to respond despite having a numerical advantage from the 52nd minute onward, following a straight red card shown to Pileas. The goal, however, remains reaching the playoffs, which can be achieved by finishing in second place—a result that would set up a matchup against one of the bottom-ranked teams in League B.
