2026-2027 Serie A: Napoli vs. Frosinone, Probable Lineups

Napoli and Frosinone will face off at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Maradona Stadium in a match counting toward the sixth matchday of the Serie A season. Massimiliano Allegri’s Azzurri had managed to scrape together only 4 points in their last 4 games before the break, and now they need to step up their game to close the gap on the top of the table (currently 6 points away); Alvini’s Ciociari have been the surprise of the early season alongside Cagliari and currently sit in sixth place with 10 points. In their last match, they secured a home win against Como.
Allegri switches to a three-man defense: Beukema, Rrahmani, and Rafa Marin in front of Meret, with Di Lorenzo and Spinazzola on the wings. Gilmour and Lobotka are the two central midfielders, while De Bruyne and Neres will play behind lone striker Lucca, with Hojlund starting on the bench. McTominay is also available and is expected to start on the bench as well, coming on during the second half.
Frosinone faces a crisis up front: Alvini is without Raimondo and Birligea and will therefore have to rely on Bobcek, making his first start. Kvernadze, Ghedjemis, and Schmid are the three attacking midfielders, with Calò and Masini in central midfield. Oyono and Bracaglia will play on the wings.
