Juventus influencer criticizes Yerry Mina: “More than just unsportsmanlike”

In the first half of the match between Cagliari and Juventus, the Bianconeri forwards—especially Randal Kolo Muani—struggled greatly. Part of the credit certainly goes to Yerry Mina, who has always been a master at mind games designed to throw opponents off their game. In addition to the French center forward, Douglas Luiz and Sarr also fell into the Colombian center back’s trap.
After the match, countless Juventus fans vented their frustration at Mina on social media. Luca Toselli, a Juventus-supporting influencer, was particularly frustrated and didn’t hold back: “Yerry Mina managed to make me angry just watching from home. He’s an unwatchable player, an opponent you’d never want to face, and he’s also way too protected by the referees—he can’t act however he wants without being punished. He’s an unbearable player and beyond unsportsmanlike.”
On social media, there are thousands of messages like this directed at the Cagliari defender, who also had a spat with Luciano Spalletti at halftime: “I didn’t hear anything,” the Colombian said, cutting the conversation short, “I told him I love him. My unsportsmanlike methods? When have I ever gotten a yellow or red card for being unsportsmanlike? This is my style of soccer.”
The epitome of Juventus’ frustration over the missed victory was the incident involving Luciano Spalletti and Fabio Pisacane after the final whistle. The Old Lady’s coach had a close-up face-to-face—practically a head-to-head—with the Rossoblù coach, who didn’t just stand by and watch. The two initially shook hands, but Spalletti said something to his colleague, leaning in close. Pisacane then grabbed the Certaldo coach’s arm, and the Tuscan coach reacted angrily, asking him to remove his hand.
At that moment, the situation escalated, with the two nearly coming to blows as if they were players on the field, exchanging less-than-polite remarks, before being separated by their respective staffs. Once the altercation ended, referee Marcenaro intervened and sent both of them off.
