2026-2027 Champions League: Manchester City vs. AEK Athens—Probable Lineups and Where to Watch It on TV

Manchester City hosts AEK Athens at 9 p.m. in a match for Matchday 3 of the Champions League group stage. Maresca’s team is on a roll in the league with seven wins in seven games, but in the Champions League, they’re coming off a painful home loss to PSG and are eager to bounce back. AEK has the same number of points as the English side thanks to a win in their opener against LASK, though that was followed by a loss to Shakhtar on Matchday 2. The match will be broadcast in Italy on Sky Sport and streamed on NOW.

Maresca should have nearly his entire roster available: up front, Haaland remains a fixture, with Cherki (in a toss-up with Doku), Enzo Fernandez, and Semenyo behind him. In midfield, Bouaddi and Anderson.

The Greeks will field the Jovic-Zini duo up front, with Majer and Vitalis on the wings. In midfield, Kairinen and Marin form the first line of defense.
