Pietro Aradori has a new team

A new adventure for Pietro Aradori. The veteran basketball player, born in 1988, who has made 154 appearances for the national team over the course of twelve years between his first and last call-ups, has been officially signed by Benedetto XIV Cento, which announced the arrival of the former player for, among others, Milan, Siena, Cantù, Virtus, and Fortitudo, on a one-month contract.
This is a highly experienced addition for the Emilia-based team, which has decided to make a move in the transfer market at a critical point in the season. In fact, the team has managed just one win in its first four Serie A2 games and, more importantly, must cope with the absence of Stacy Davis, who is sidelined by an injury to his right thumb that required surgery.
Aradori brings a career of the highest caliber to the team. After playing for some of the most prestigious clubs in Italian basketball, he won the Basketball Champions League in 2019 with Virtus Bologna. He subsequently became one of the icons of Fortitudo Bologna, where he played for six seasons, before his most recent stint in Serie A2 with Pallacanestro Forlì.
Sports director Filippo Fanchini expressed satisfaction with the successful deal: “We’re very pleased with the speed and enthusiasm with which Pietro responded to our call. We know that the time available to integrate him into the team’s system is limited, but we’re confident that, thanks to his vast experience, he’ll be able to adapt quickly, understand the team’s needs, and make a significant contribution during this difficult phase of the season.”
