Important developments could be on the horizon for Al Nassr, the Saudi club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays. The Portuguese superstar is reportedly ready to take his relationship with the club to the next level by becoming a direct shareholder. According to rumors, CR7 could initially acquire a 20% stake in the club, thereby becoming not only the team’s main star on the field but also one of its shareholders.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing for Al Nassr since January 2023, when he embarked on a new adventure following the conclusion of his second stint with Manchester United. His move to Saudi Arabia marked one of the most significant milestones in the growth of the Saudi Pro League, helping to draw international attention to the league and paving the way for the arrival of numerous top-tier players.

During his time in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo has seen the quality of Al Nassr’s roster improve significantly, with the team now boasting several players with international experience.

Among his teammates are Senegalese forward Sadio Mané, formerly of Liverpool and Bayern Munich; French winger Kingsley Coman, who also played for Bayern; and his compatriot João Félix, who has played for Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Milan, among others. The team also includes French defender Mohamed Simakan, Brazilian goalkeeper Bento, and Spaniard Iñigo Martínez.
