The match between Atalanta and Frosinone is set for Sunday at 3 p.m. at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo, as part of the eighth matchday of Serie A. The home team is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Ajax in the Conference League, while the visitors have gotten off to a great start to the season, thanks in part to a stellar performance by Raimondo.

Maurizio Sarri is looking for a win after the last two losses to Milan and Ajax: his Atalanta side is struggling more than expected, but the match against Frosinone presents a golden opportunity. Carnesecchi will be in goal, with Bellanova, Kristensen, Obric, and Bernasconi in front of him.

Pasalic is expected to play alongside Ederson, though Gaetano is eager to earn a starting spot; further up front will be Zalewski, Elmas (slightly favored over De Ketelaere), and Rowe. Krstovic, who has scored four league goals so far, will lead the attack.

Massimiliano Alvini is on a roll: his Frosinone side sits sixth in the standings thanks to four wins, one draw, and two losses. Much credit is also due to Antonio Raimondo, the league’s leading scorer alongside Monza’s Varela.

Leading the Ciociari’s attack will, of course, be the Ravenna-born center forward, with Ghedjemis, Schmid, and Kvernadze behind him. Calò and Masini will orchestrate the play, while in defense, Oyono, Calvani, Cittadini, and Bracaglia will form a shield around Palmisani.
