A dominant Frosinone, from start to finish, defeated Lecce 5-1 at the “Benito Stirpe” Stadium in the first of Thursday’s two late matches for Matchday 9 of Serie A. The victory for the Giallazzurri—who have lost only two of their nine matches this season (against Juventus on Matchday 1 and Napoli just after the break)—allows them to climb to sixth place, pulling ahead of both the Bianconeri and the Partenopei.
