Fabrizio Biasin sounds the alarm after the derby: “Inter, the Scudetto isn’t a sure thing”
Fabrizio Biasin shared his thoughts on Facebook about his beloved Inter following their defeat in the derby against Milan: “In Italy, there are those who take Inter’s Scudetto for granted and keep repeating: ‘Only Chivu’s team can take it away because they’re clearly the strongest.’ Generally, it’s the Nerazzurri’s opponents who—as is only natural—apply the right amount of pressure.”
“But the truth is quite different: there’s no such thing as a guaranteed Scudetto, least of all this year. Because the competition is fierce—they’ve invested a lot of money and equipped themselves to compete at the level of the Italian champions.
“Only Inter can lose it” or “Inter should focus on the Champions League” are pieces of nonsense to be avoided like the plague: Inter must earn every single point and realize that the teams around them are “hungry” and have the utmost ambition.
“It’s even ridiculous to have to say this, but it becomes important if that message (‘only Inter can lose it because they’re clearly the strongest’) seems to have foolishly gotten into the heads of too many Nerazzurri fans,” concluded the popular journalist.
