Massimo Scotti defeats Mario Fagnani and wins the Inter Club Villasanta billiards tournament

A Friday evening dedicated to sports in Villasanta, a charming town just outside Monza, where the highly anticipated soccer derby between the local Real team and the Leoni Arcore wasn’t the only event. At the Circolo Parrocchiale Unione, organized by the local Inter Club, an interesting billiards tournament that had begun the previous day came to a close.

Sixteen participants battled their way through no-holds-barred matches in a single-elimination format. Two of the most anticipated players, Massimo Scotti and Mario Fagnani, faced off in the final, with the latter—as we’ve heard—not exactly a fan of the Nerazzurri colors: The former came out on top in a match that featured plenty of top-notch plays from both sides.

With yet another event wrapped up, the club led by Luigi Tremolada is already looking ahead to the next one: the focus will shift from the green felt to the tables set for the Christmas dinner.
