2026-2027 Serie A: Inter vs. Como, Probable Lineups

On Sunday, November 8, at 6:00 p.m., Inter and Como will face off at San Siro Stadium in a matchup between two ambitious teams coming off major European fixtures. The Nerazzurri are looking to put their derby loss to Milan behind them, while Como arrive in Milan full of enthusiasm after their extraordinary 9-1 victory on the road against Lens in the Champions League.
Cristian Chivu’s team is looking to build on its European success against Feyenoord—a 3-0 away win—and immediately secure three points in the league. On the other side will be a Como team on the rise, having enjoyed a particularly strong start to the season and determined to prove their worth even against one of the top contenders for the Scudetto.
Cristian Chivu must contend with the absence of Lautaro Martinez, who remains sidelined. Up front, the Nerazzurri coach is expected to rely on Marcus Thuram and Pio Esposito, with the latter favored over Bonny for a starting spot. In midfield, Barella and Calhanoglu are set to start, with Zielinski edged out by Sucic and Mkhitaryan. Diouf and Dimarco are expected to play on the wings, while Josep Martinez is expected to start in goal.
On the other side, Cesc Fabregas will be without Diao and Chalobah, as well as Kean. Up front, Douvikas is expected to lead the attack, supported by Nico Paz, Baturina, and Da Cunha. In midfield, Perrone and Milla are set to start, while in defense, Kempf is expected to partner with Ramon.
Probable lineups:
Inter (3-5-2): Josep Martinez; Bisseck, Akanji, Bastoni; Diouf, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco; Pio Esposito, Thuram. Head Coach: Cristian Chivu.
Como (4-2-3-1): Butez; Couto, Ramon, Kempf, Valle; Milla, Perrone; Da Cunha, Nico Paz, Baturina; Douvikas. Head Coach: Cesc Fabregas.
