Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi commented with satisfaction on his victory in Qatar: “Everything went perfectly today; I’m very happy—the team deserved this win. We had to pay close attention to several factors, including both tire wear and fuel consumption.”

“It’s a wonderful feeling; it was the performance we deserved. I want to thank Aprilia—I was incredibly fast and felt great on the bike. Too bad about yesterday, but that’s part of the game—in fact, this comeback after the crash tastes even sweeter; I’m happy. Now I’m heading home to spend some time with my family, friends, and my dog. I can’t wait to rest and then head off to Portimao.”

This year, the rider from Rimini hasn’t had much luck in the Sprint races: “Would I sign up to eliminate them? No, in the end, every little bit helps; I’ll learn from the mistakes I’ve made here and there—it’s all experience. Yesterday’s incident was really just a bit of bad luck. A bit of everything has happened this season—I got injured, then I returned to winning ways in Indonesia and here as well; I’m happy.”
