Como market, ds Ludi does not hold back on Nico Paz
The future of Nico Paz continues to be the central issue at Como, but the latest words of sporting director Carlalberto Ludi have brought back a breath of optimism among the biancoblù fans. In fact, the Blancos hold a buy-back clause set at only 9 million euros for the summer of 2026, a derisory sum for a player whose market value has now skyrocketed beyond 60 million. Although from Spain’s Marca side, Florentino Perez’s exercise of the option is taken for granted, Ludi said he was calm: “We are not afraid that he might leave us.”
Como’s plan is clear: to leverage the technical project and the Argentine’s brilliant run in these seasons at the Lombard club to convince him to postpone his return to Madrid by 12 months. Staying for another season at Como (with a possible Champions League qualification) would allow the talented Argentine to tread international fields and continue his path of growth, before the big jump to a top club.
