Lele Forever celebrates its 25th anniversary in a big way

Founded by Roberto and Patrizia in April 2001, after the untimely death of their son Gabriele, at the behest of the founders, but above all of the Friends of Lele, the Lele Forever Association today represents a point of reference for the area and for many families who face illness every day. The Lele Forever Association celebrates an important anniversary in 2026, telling a story born out of pain, but transformed over time into an extraordinary positive energy at the service of others.

Five years of commitment, concrete proximity and support to the fight against leukemia, an achievement that perhaps no one at the beginning of this wonderful adventure would have ever thought of achieving. In these 25 years, the Association has been able to transform a personal tragedy into a collective project of solidarity, involving hundreds of volunteers and supporters.

Thanks to the numerous initiatives organized in the area, more than 2 million euros have been raised, which have been allocated to projects of great social and health value:

  • maintaining the Casa Lele and Lory and Casa Lele 2 reception facilities to ensure that they are free of charge, so that Guests can devote themselves peacefully to the illness of their loved ones
  • finance scientific research on leukemias;
  • award scholarships for young medical residents in Hematology;
  • support the Department of Adult Hematology by purchasing hospital instrumentation and machinery;
  • collaborate with specialized hospital centers.

“Celebrating 25 years means looking back at the path we have traveled, but more importantly, renewing our commitment for the future. Every initiative, every volunteer, every person who decides to walk with us represents a fundamental piece of a project that supports research and offers concrete support to families. This year’s yellow will be the symbol of a united community,” stressed Roberto and Patrizia, founders of the Association.

To celebrate this important anniversary, 2026 will in fact be under the banner of yellow. Yellow will not only be the symbolic color of the volunteers, but will become the common thread of the entire calendar of events. A color chosen not by chance: it represents the sun, energy, optimism, vitality and hope. A visible and shared message to bring light even in the most difficult times. The appointment will be in Villasanta (MB), in Piazza Europa, on June 26, 27 and 28.

“There will be activities dedicated to children, gatherings for motor enthusiasts, cooking, music and entertainment in the square and also a yellow walk that will involve the entire community in the sign of solidarity. A message that sums up the spirit with which Lele Forever is preparing to live an anniversary that is not just a recurrence, but a new stage of a journey that continues, with the same enthusiasm as always. We will not fail to keep you updated on the details of the various activities, as soon as they have reached their final form,” the organizers let us know.
