Treviso to Sassari with an alternative strategy

Marcelo Nicola, the coach of Nutribullet Treviso, is aware that Sassari’s challenge with Dinamo (2:00 p.m. ball at 5:30 p.m.) represents a crucial junction for the race towards salvation: the success obtained on Sunday at home against Vanoli Cremona gave some oxygen to the Venetian team, but the road is still long.
“For sure it will be a tough game, because Sassari is a well-organized team even when it comes to attacking ‘in the middle of the court,’ with the defense lined up,” he noted. “For this reason we will have to review our way of defending, since the last opponents we faced relied a lot, on the contrary, on the counterattack and one-on-one: on Sunday the focus will be on Dinamo’s spacing and physicality.
“As for us, we have to continue our path of improvement, continue to believe in our means and pay attention to even the small details, because as we also saw against Cremona, it is precisely these that decide the games,” added the Argentine naturalized Spaniard.
Sunday’s challenge in Desio between Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù and Pallacanestro Trieste, which has a good ranking but a tangled situation at the corporate level, is also important in terms of salvation.
The Brianzoli will have Gerald Robinson among them, who was hastily hired to fill the absence of Chris Chiozza, who is in the pits due to a muscle problem.
