Cagliari’s latest negative results are weighing heavily on the standings.

Fabio Pisacane’s team is now in 15th place with only 3 points ahead of the relegation zone. The Sardinians haven’t won since the 4-0 win against Hellas Verona on January 31 (5 defeats and 2 draws in the last 7) and the next match against Sassuolo will be very important.

To try to inject confidence in the team, the club has decided to open the doors at Wednesday’s training session: “On Wednesday, April 1, open doors at the CRAI Sport Center: fans will have the opportunity to attend a training session and support the team, engaged in the preparation for the match on Saturday, April 4 in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo,” the statement reads.

“Coach Pisacane’s Rossoblù will take the field at 4 p.m.: for fans, the entrance to the Assemini Sports Center will be from via Sa Ruina, starting at 3 p.m. Simply enter first on cagliaricalcio.com or TicketOne’s website and download the free pass (up to a maximum of two),” concludes the note released by the island club.

Fabio Grosso’s Sassuolo is tenth in the standings with 39 points but has not won for three matches. After the match against the neroverdi, Cagliari will face Cremonese, Inter, Atalanta, Bologna, Udinese, Torino and Milan.
