Cantù-Sassari will be broadcast live on TV for free

The match between Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù and Banco di Sardegna Sassari, scheduled for Saturday, April 4 at 8:30 p.m., will be available in free mode on LBATV. The announcement is made by the Basketball League: a news that will make both Brianza and Sardinian fans happy, in view of a very important challenge for both teams.

Both Sassari and Cantù are paired in the standings in thirteenth place with 14 points, four lengths behind Treviso, which, however, has a game to make up. The game is valid for the 24th day of the LBA.

Cantù is back from a good win against Trieste, as commented by coach De Raffaele: “Perhaps it was one of the best games since I arrived in terms of continuity in offense and defense over 40 minutes, as well as in being able to take something from each player. This is a key aspect because we were facing a very talented team. We made an impact with a lot of energy and there was maximum availability from everyone. Then I want to thank this wonderful crowd because today the entire arena really helped us. Playing with them behind us is a spectacle.”

“We face Cantù, which has the same points as us, so the value of the competition is high – warned Sassari coach Veljko Mrsic-. We will have to play as a team, focused and with the right energy on a difficult court. Our main problem remains defense, but we have been working hard to improve.” He was echoed by pivot Nick McGlynn: “Cantù has talent and depth, to win we need to be cohesive on offense and defense, putting all our strength on the court. This week we focused on what kind of team we want to be, showing energy and desire to fight until the end of the season.”
